We understand the importance of keeping your production running smooth with minimum setbacks. We value your business, which is why our technicians recommend these useful tips that are essential to the care of your machine:
1. Check the airlines for condensation. Moisture will build up in the hose lines of your compressed air and could cause pressure issues with the cylinders if the water is not dumped. Bleed the condensation from your compressor lines regularly. Remember to periodically check air filters for air-restricting build up. Clean/replace as needed.
2. Grease the cylinder shafts. Lubricate your bearings, cylinders, and sprockets. Every machine is different so please refer to owner’s manual for proper techniques and appropriate compounds.
3. Clean your machine. We realize this tip is probably the most simple of them all, yet it’s very important to mention. Keep your machine and it’s parts clear of debris and product before, during, and after a production run. Cleaning the sealing jaws, knife assemblies, rollers, and cylinders will help your machine work more effectively.
Staying proactive in using these helpful tips will save hours of lost production and add longevity to your equipment. Call our office to speak to a technician for specific questions.
